• • • Villu (Tamil: வில்லு; English: Bow) is a 2009 Tamil language action film written and directed by Prabhu Deva. The film stars Vijay in a dual role while Nayantara and Prakash Raj play other prominent roles. Jayan, Vadivelu, Adithya, Geetha, and Ranjitha play supporting roles whilst Prabhu Deva, Mumaith Khan, Zabyn Khan, and Kushboo Sundar appear in item numbers. The film is produced and distributed by Ayngaran International and composed by Devi Sri Prasad. The movie was dubbed into Hindi as Ek Aur Jaanbaaz Khilladi and in Telugu Yamakantri.
This film is loosely based on 1998 film Soldier.

Based in Chennai, plainclothes police officer Pugazh slays Raka, a male wanted by Inter-pol, during the Shri Ganesh Visarjan. This news alerts his associates, some of who become alert, while others relieved, and Pugazh is instructed to proceed with his next target. The latter then meets with Janavi and both eventually fall in love.
She then lets him speak with her wealthy Munich-based father, J.D., who instructs them to come home. Once there, he displays his disapproval for Pugazh. Unable to get close to his target, his stay is prolonged, prompting his mother to also travel there. And it is her arrival that will dramatically alter the entire situation - changing everyone's lives forever. Once again comes another block buster flop from our ILAYA THALAPATHY. This is one of the most f**king movie i have ever watched. Its really a waste of 3 hours watching this horrible nonsense.
Even Vadivelu comedy was disgusting. These kind of foolish movies utterly degrade the quality of Tamil cinema. Tamil audiences are not fools applauding the actor for his nonsense punch dialogs and gravity defying stunt sequences. Tamil people have become wreck less and longing for quality movies.
The directors and actors have to understand this and change their mind-stuff and produce some really good quality movies. Its really hard time for Vijay and if he continues his idiotic stuff in his forthcoming movies its for sure he should pack off back to home and sit shut.
